The funniest toddler interview

"WHAT IS LOVE"

Hey friend!

A few years ago, I asked my then 3 year old "what is love"

He thought for a second, very seriously, then said"

"Love is when you let me eat all the grapes"

Cue the heart melt. And also the realization that toddlers are basically tiny philosophers in dinosaur shirts.

These birthday (or anytime!) interviews have become one of my absolute favorite traditions.

Not because they're instagram worthy or go in a fancy scrapbook (I never filled out any of my kids' memory books! Haha) but because they capture the fun and magic of right now.

I ask the same set of questions every year, the answers change . . . sometimes wildly. Sometimes not at all. But every time, they remind me of who my child is in that exact moment.

Their joy.

Their logic.

Their wonderfully silly take on life.

I love all of it.

Want in on the fun?

I made a free printable with 25+ questions to ask your toddler. You can reuse it every year, laminate it, or just tuck it in your memory box with that macaroni art that made you cry one time.

PS- What's the funniest answer your kid has ever given you? Hit reply and let me know!
